Schreiber FlexControl System

Behind all of Schreiber’s patented methods for biological wastewater treatment, our process controls provide users with the ability to run their operations. FlexControl monitors and controls the chemistry used by your biological reactor throughout all three phases of wastewater treatment: oxic, anoxic and anaerobic. Its flexible design allows you to adapt quickly to changing conditions like seasonal capacity demands, increases in municipal population, permit modifications and much more - without the expense of reprogramming your system or purchasing new equipment.

The Schreiber FlexControl system facilitates your process in a number of configurations:

  • Simultaneous nitrification/denitrification with biological nutrient removal (SBNR)
  • Continuously Sequencing Reactor (CSR)
  • 4-stage or 5-stage Bardenpho process configurations as part of Modified Ludzack-Ettinger (MLE) process
  • Single Basin Continuous Flow BNR or ENR

FlexControl allows your operation to separate aeration and mixing, with 100 percent aeration turndown while mixing continues. This means that mixing can be accomplished with as little as three to five horsepower per MG. Most important, FlexControl provides real-time monitoring of your reaction conditions, and precise control of aeration blowers to maximize treatment and minimize energy consumption. The result is lower operating and energy costs.
